I had an odd, scary thought. First of all, pay no mind to the following as my belief. I’m rather private about my beliefs, but lately I’ve been a little more open. I’m writing this because these thoughts… disturbed me. Yes, the guy who can laugh at zombie movies, disturbed.
what if you got “The Message”, but realized that it wasn’t the “happy” ending?

but again, i got over that quickly.
That would be most dissapointing…and would be tempted to return the favor
A while back I had the idea of having someone UPSed down here so I could skin him alive and then taxidermy his skin so he could see just how ugly he is.

heh, that does give it a little bit of perspective..
that book actually had very little to do with it. if anything, war of the worlds had much more to do with it - not the aliens, etc, but the more abstract ideas behind the plot.
