i just found out an old coworker of mine from my first real IT job died a couple weeks ago from stomach cancer.

sigh.

she was really nice, and did everything in her power to make sure her “kids” (those who worked there) had everything they needed to get the job done.

I’m sorry to hear the loss. It hurts to lose a friend.

the worst part about it, is I lost contact with her, and hadn’t spoken to her in years.
