September 1st, 2004i hate openoffice.
i hate openoffice.
That’s okay because it is a piece of crap.
Now anytime someone yells try openoffice I want them to actually prove to me they have used it. For example load up the spreedsheet portion, create a couple hundred columns of data… now go ahead and chart this. OMG SO FRICKEN SLOW. Excel on the same machine does it in a second or two at the most.
Open Office has it’s problems. I don’t like being told I may lose my changes just because I didn’t save in a OS format (i.e. I save into Excel).
but overall i like it because I can do a lot of the stuff I would normally do at work at home. ![]()
I dunno..it’s been my friend lately.
Considering it’s free…it does what I need.
Here’s a solution, brought to you by your fine friends in the Pacific Northwest.
thppt.
i hate openoffice because i had to get 1.1.2 in order to open excel 2003 documents *properly*
it’s an 80 meg download.
Over broadband? Too easy!
no. at work.

wow. never thought I’d bitch about having “only” a T1..
speaking of which, i got a t1 in my pants, baby.. wanna log on? ![]()
