Hooray for medical discharges?

I dunno if I’d fight in this war if they were to pull me back in. I have too many serious issues with it. I swore an oath to protect America and the Constitution - not to be a bully’s weapon.

A lot of people read this journal. A lot of people have expressed that they want to be able to help me in my game design career. Now, I’m calling in that favor. There are a few things I would ask each and every person who reads this to try to do, and the first two are free and only take a few minutes:

1) Vote in the Gamer’s Choice Origins Awards. I’m not going to tell you HOW to vote, but I will mention that Cartoon Action Hour is on the ballot, and I was a co-designer for that game. Make sure you vote the way you want the first time, since the site will track your IP and you can’t vote twice from the same computer.

2) Take the above URL and sent it to everyone you know who is a gamer - post it in your LJ, email it to friends, whatever. Get the word out. I would appreciate if people would pass on that Cartoon Action Hour is on the ballot, but the decision is up to you.

3) If you are at all able to this summer, try to pick up one of the Spectrum/Z-Man Games books if you haven’t already. Cartoon Action Hour, Darkness Unleashed, Metal Wars, and Omlevex are all out, all reasonably priced, and all available online at http://www.zmangames.com or through your Favorite Local Game Store.

Helping out with 1 and 2 would be really great, and 3 would help Z-Man Games out immensely. I haven’t made a penny so far from any of the books, and I would like to help Z-Man Games out in any way that I can, and the best way to help both of us is to buy our joint products.
