I was looking at video footage of a “double protest” in Iraq, where the *opposing sides* protested against each other and the American occupation. One side had red flags and banners - the other had green flags and banners.

Really, I suppose it’s red and green vs blue. heh.

Funny. It was a more peaceful protest than typical American ones. You give a nation freedom, and the power of free speech - and you open up a big can of worms.

Iraq’s on the edge of a civil war - and it looks like the line’s being drawn along the Tigris. American soldiers are stuck in the middle of it all - not really the cause, just the catalyst. They, Iraqis, just might need this sort of thing. Unfortunately, that means lots of innocent people will die - which they DON’T need.
