790,000 years.. That’s pretty damned far back compared to what they taught when I was in high school - that Homo Sapiens and anything like them weren’t around before 100,000 years ago. 65,000 if you’re just talking Sapiens.
Granted, they’ve found evidence as far back as 500,000 years ago in Asia, but this is farther back than anything else.
Supposedly, humans didn’t have the know-how to gather grains, de-bone meat, and cook it altogether back then. Hmm.
