790,000 years.. That’s pretty damned far back compared to what they taught when I was in high school - that Homo Sapiens and anything like them weren’t around before 100,000 years ago. 65,000 if you’re just talking Sapiens.

Granted, they’ve found evidence as far back as 500,000 years ago in Asia, but this is farther back than anything else.

Supposedly, humans didn’t have the know-how to gather grains, de-bone meat, and cook it altogether back then. Hmm.

Invent a memory of me and post it in the comments. It can be anything you want, so long as it’s something that’s never happened. Then, of course, post this to your journal and see what an interesting life you might have had in a parallel universe.

Sorry I’ve not updated in a couple weeks, here’s the scoops:

I won the VST Mage election. woot. Run my first game on Saturday. It’s been a while since I’ve flexed the Mage ST muscles. I’m welcoming the challenge.

I’ve been really busy with work - so much so that any more than a trivial glance at LJ takes too much time.

I’m starting to come around to the idea of using the computer at home for more than just video games, and may start doing weekly updates.

I’m thinking about applying for the Editor position for the Regional newsletter.
