1) If you had to be deaf or blind, which would it be?

That’s probably the toughest question that’s ever been posed to me. My first instinct is to say deaf, as I don’t know if I’d want to go on without seeing the world around me. However, the more I think about it, the more I lean to being deaf, as I wouldn’t have to see the world around me. The “bonus” might be that my hearing would compensate, and I might hear things I’d never heard before.

2) You have to pick an entire culture of people to remove from existence, so that the rest of the world can live - who do you pick?

You like tough questions, don’t you? I’d ask the world, who wants to go to save the rest of it. Unfortunately, that would probably start some kind of war, somewhere, somehow. If that failed, I’d probably have to research to find a culture of people that had already placed its mark on other cultures sufficiently enough for it to “survive”, and also would have to be small, as I don’t like the idea of removing anyone from existence.

3) If you had to pick one motto, kernel of wisdom, saying…to be etched in to history forever, and commonly known to all, what would it be?

If you continually live in fear of something you couldn’t stop if you wanted to, you’ll never get anywhere in life.

4) If it were you looking in to the Mirror of Erised (from the Harry Potter books) what would your reflection look like?

I don’t recall what the mirror does exactly, but I recall it has something to do with your heart’s desire. That’s not something that I’m sure could be reflected in such a device, as it’s an concept, not a thing. Truth. About everything - existence, “the who”, “the when”, “the where”, “the why”. And perhaps even “the how”.

5) What is the most profound thing you think a man can suffer?

I can only say the most profound thing I’ve had to suffer - having one’s belief in oneself dashed to pieces, and in the process having one’s beliefs (religiously/spirtually) destroyed as well. In the end of it all, I found myself stronger in conviction, and stronger in faith in many things. Almost like Nietzsche said, “That which does not kill you..”

Heh..

No, this isn’t a political statement. It’s funny as hell, though..

What I want to know, is how the fuck this idiot thinks he can get away with lying to the entire fucking nation?

Let me guess - Republicans are going to now say “You can’t believe Tenet! He’s lying!!”

Right. Screw that. Too many people from his OWN ADMINISTRATION have said that the information was incorrect, and he knew it. One even said that it wasn’t his fault, though - it was the fault of the intelligence community. Well, the intelligence community of the United States has spoken.

Bush is full of shit - so much so that I can no longer believe a single word that comes out of that idiot’s mouth.

maybe that will work?

1. Some people join to meet others with similar interests. Some people join to find a date. Some people just join. Why are *you* in the Cam? What makes you stick around when people get catty?

I joined, honestly, out of loneliness. At the time, I had just gone through a rough break-up, my ex marrying a friend of mine I introduced her to. I hated vampire the first and only time I’d played it ( might remember me bitching about it, as it was when I lived in the Puget Sound area), and I protested when a co-worker at IBM dragged me to one of the first “Denton/Dallas” combined domain games (they had until recently been two separate domains). However, half-way through, I made a simple character, and started playing out of boredom. The people were nice, welcoming, and helpful for my first time playing. Most of them I still count as some of my closest (albeit, I rarely get time to talk to them) friends. Heh.. one of them is my best man in the wedding in October. Anyways, point is, I joined because I had fun, and wanted to keep having it. It got my mind off of Alissa, and actually helped me cope a bit.

What keeps me around? I dunno. Masochism? Softheart? Stubborn? Probably. I care a lot about the organization, even if it is a different one than the one I joined. It’s not about social anymore, and more about game, but that doesn’t mean I can’t still help people out.

2. What is your lifelong dream? Have you achieved it? If so, how? If not, what is stopping you?

Sad though it is, I’ve long since forgotten it. I suppose it might boil down to creating something that affects people in a positive manner. Which might be why I tried the doctor route first, then the acting, and all in between, writing. I’m a writer, I may not get paid for it, but I’ve achieved that much. I don’t have millions of readers, maybe just a handful, but it’s something. What’s stopping me from going further? The necessities put upon people by society. I don’t have time for myself anymore.

3. What was your first impression of me? How did that change as we got to know each other? How is it the same?

Cute, but married. Quite attractive, but still married. I still think you’re one of the nicest cammies I met in Colorado. And that, unfortunately, isn’t saying all that much. I can only count on one hand the cammies I’d say were honestly nice and respectful to me from the beginning.

4. Coke or Pepsi? Vanilla or Chocolate? Snickers or Mars Bars? East Coast, West Coast or somewhere in-between?

Dr. Pepper. Vanilla. Snickers (if I ate chocolate). You know the side. World-mother-fuckin-wide. (west)

5. If you could be a superhero, who would you be and why?

The Brodie-man. If only because he can manage to behave like a complete moron, yet still find love.

TSAL’S PROJECT PITCHFORK SONG LYRIC IS

eyes like stars
i feel your warmth
do you feel mine
your odour like a drug for me
you soak me up
our minds are free
wine on the blanket
is this reality

in and out

i see you i feel you
movements of ecstasy
we fuse together
close embraced
praying for eternity

1. Describe your earliest memories of us meeting.

It was cold, first of all, and I had no idea your position within the Camarilla. We were in Estes Park (though I’m sure I’d seen you before then, just never met), at the first meeting of NCRE 6. I have bad memories associated with that event, but the one good thing was meeting you, and talking with you about what our passions were for the Camarilla at the time. Those passions are still there, but, unfortunately, it seems less and less people share them. I remember you telling me about your health as well, as it was something we sort of had in common. I remember us saying we’d drink together next time we were at an event together. And drink we did.. heh

2. You are meeting someone for the first time, what are the important things you look for in that person?

Honesty, though that isn’t expected to be 100% - we’re human beings, after all. I also expect them to treat me with the same respect I treat them. A weird thing - if, when I meet someone, in that same time-span they’re cruel/mean to someone else (even if I don’t know the “victim”) in my presence, that’s it for any possible friendship. I know I can be an asshole, but from my point of view, I’m only an asshole when I’m in pain (which is often lately). Other than that, I really don’t expect / look for much in people when I meet them. Until I meet them, they’re just people, after that, they’re a person.

3. What are the things you dislike most about the Cam?

The ability of it to destroy the honesty in people. The ability of it to take over one’s life. The ability of it to turn good people in to backstabbing, rumor-mongering idiots - including myself at one point. And the fact that it spreads like a plague once it sets into a domain/chapter.

4. Alone on a desert island with no chace of rescue or survival, your girlfriend or Jenna Jameson and why?

Damn that’s a tough call. My instincts tell me Jenna Jameson, but I know it would probably kill me. So my answer would be my fiance, Kat. Mainly because she can take no for an answer, sometimes. :)

5. What would you do differently if you were running the war on terror?

I don’t know everything Bush and/or his staff knows, so I can’t really be specific. I have to give Bush credit in only that he knows more of the situation at that level than I do. However, I don’t think Iraq would have been approached as it has been. I probably wouldn’t have called it a war - and I wouldn’t have suspended civil liberties either.

THE RULES:
1 - Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2 - I will respond; I’ll ask you five questions.
3 - You’ll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4 - You’ll include this explanation.
5 - You’ll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed
