1. Some people join to meet others with similar interests. Some people join to find a date. Some people just join. Why are *you* in the Cam? What makes you stick around when people get catty?

I joined, honestly, out of loneliness. At the time, I had just gone through a rough break-up, my ex marrying a friend of mine I introduced her to. I hated vampire the first and only time I’d played it ( might remember me bitching about it, as it was when I lived in the Puget Sound area), and I protested when a co-worker at IBM dragged me to one of the first “Denton/Dallas” combined domain games (they had until recently been two separate domains). However, half-way through, I made a simple character, and started playing out of boredom. The people were nice, welcoming, and helpful for my first time playing. Most of them I still count as some of my closest (albeit, I rarely get time to talk to them) friends. Heh.. one of them is my best man in the wedding in October. Anyways, point is, I joined because I had fun, and wanted to keep having it. It got my mind off of Alissa, and actually helped me cope a bit.

What keeps me around? I dunno. Masochism? Softheart? Stubborn? Probably. I care a lot about the organization, even if it is a different one than the one I joined. It’s not about social anymore, and more about game, but that doesn’t mean I can’t still help people out.

2. What is your lifelong dream? Have you achieved it? If so, how? If not, what is stopping you?

Sad though it is, I’ve long since forgotten it. I suppose it might boil down to creating something that affects people in a positive manner. Which might be why I tried the doctor route first, then the acting, and all in between, writing. I’m a writer, I may not get paid for it, but I’ve achieved that much. I don’t have millions of readers, maybe just a handful, but it’s something. What’s stopping me from going further? The necessities put upon people by society. I don’t have time for myself anymore.

3. What was your first impression of me? How did that change as we got to know each other? How is it the same?

Cute, but married. Quite attractive, but still married. I still think you’re one of the nicest cammies I met in Colorado. And that, unfortunately, isn’t saying all that much. I can only count on one hand the cammies I’d say were honestly nice and respectful to me from the beginning.

4. Coke or Pepsi? Vanilla or Chocolate? Snickers or Mars Bars? East Coast, West Coast or somewhere in-between?

Dr. Pepper. Vanilla. Snickers (if I ate chocolate). You know the side. World-mother-fuckin-wide. (west)

5. If you could be a superhero, who would you be and why?

The Brodie-man. If only because he can manage to behave like a complete moron, yet still find love.

AAAWWWW! You’re too sweet.

I poured my life into the Cam for those years and I watched it turn from social to Game Almost Exclusively and I didn’t like it. I was there to have fun, not get all caught up in the bull that goes along with it. :P
