I completely agree.. I just thought it was an interesting quote. For the longest time, I’ve always thought, when I’ve heard of killings in Israel, “What a shame, the palestinians are killing so many innocents.”
Lately, however, I’ve noticed a trend that makes me ashamed of thinking that way. Sure, Arafat isn’t to be trusted - he’s being TOO nice lately. However, I want to know why media wasn’t allowed into the palestinian village, that I currently don’t know how to spell, recently. (heh) From what I’ve heard (I have have email friends in Israel) it was described as a “slaughter of any and everyone ever suspected of being related to terrorism or terrorists.” Come on, now.. Can a little girl help it if her 5th cousin was a terrorist?
It’s become senseless.. the Israelis are doing what was done to the Jews in Germany. Sure, it’s not on that scale - but isn’t it the same thing? If this isn’t stopped soon, it’s going to only grow bigger and bigger, and we’re going to have to defend our “ally” Israel when all the Arab nations (Saudi excluded, they seem to always go the opposite of their cousins) turn their military attention to Israel, and start working out how to get rid of Israel completely. I am not anti-semitic, don’t get me wrong. But in this case, the US should tell Israel to stop fucking around and give the Palestinians what they want and end it all comepletely. If the Palestinians CONTINUE their “crusade”, after being given what they want, they’ll look pretty stupid internationally, eh? If Israel continues down this path, I’m hoping the President gets smart and ends our ties with them, so WE don’t become a target by the Arab nations if/when they unite against Israel. If Israel gets overrun - guess who controls their *long range* nuclear weapons at that point?
